London Stadium
The London Stadium was built for the 2012 Olympics, where it was the primary stadium. After 108 years at the legendary Boleyn Ground, West Ham moved to the London Stadium in 2016 (which Tottenham also bid for, by the way). In the first season, West Ham managed to sell all 50,000 season tickets for the stadium! The London Stadium can hold up to 66,000 spectators, making it the fourth largest stadium in England.
West Ham played their first match at the London Stadium when they faced NK Domzale in the Europa League on August 4, 2016. The Hammers won the game 3-0 at a sold-out London Stadium. The first goal of the match was scored by Cheikhou Kouyaté, making him the first goal scorer at the London Stadium.
